The Trader's Net

This website page supports the Trader' Net, a directed Net, presented by Short Mountain Repeater Club on Thursday evenings at 8 PM CST. If you have Ham gear that has got shoved to the back of the shack for that fine new gear you just purchased, the Trader's Net is where you can let everyone know what you have to sell, or want to buy or what you have to swap. When you create your post, the net control will announce your listing over the Trader's Net for you. The post will be active for 60 days. You may keep your post active by updating the Timestamp field, on your equipment form. In addition to listing your gear here on the internet, you can tell everyone about it over the air on the Trader's Net. When you call in your equipment listing, it will be heard by those monitoring the net only and is not listed on the website. Posting your listing on the website keeps your post up 24/7 for as long as you wish, it is available to anyone who accesses the website, and interested traders can ask you questions about your equipment on your equipment page.

To add your equipment to the website just click the Add Content under the Navigation block to the left then click equipment. You can also click here open the equipment form. Just fill out the information requested on the form and click Save at the bottom of the equipment form. If that doesn’t work contact a editor and send them it name of item, a brief description, a full description , manufacturer, model number , type of item(radio, power supply, etc) , price , your call sign & price of item.
