Patron Memberships

Patron Memberships are tailored to those who want to support the repeater operation and SMRC as a club member. It is for those persons that appreciate the role Amateur Radio plays in the community, Emergency Communications and Weather spotting and reporting. The Patron Membership is for those that wish to support the operation and maintenance of the repeater and stay abreast of what's happening in the Club and community.

The Patron Membership is also are very useful for those Hams who don't reside in the area. If you live in another region or state, or you are part of another radio club in your local area and would still like to be a part of the SMRC community, this membership is perfect for you. If you don't have time to come to the meetings but want to keep up with what's happening at Short Mountain you need to sign up below by accessing the specific option that works best for you.  The Patron Membership is by donation (a $10 minimum donation is suggested) and offers the same access to training information and materials as the Associate membership.

If you appreciate the role SMRC plays, or perhaps you use the Short Mountain repeater, and wish to help support it then this is a perfect way to get involved and earn the thanks of the Club and the Amateur Radio community.
